Marketing Manager (Part Time)


Our Company:

Founded in 2003, Garrett Search Partners ( is a fully retained executive search firm serving the Industrial Manufacturing, Consumer Durables, and Energy sectors across the Americas. We are a Women Owned firm with offices in Dallas and Chicago.   We are seeking a marketing manager who can oversee our marketing initiatives on a part time basis. 

Position Description & Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility in marketing, communications or public relations;
  • B2B marketing experience preferred or experience marketing intangible products & services;
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or other related field; experience in 
communications, marketing or other related field a plus;
  • Oversee and manage the company brand or image as it relates to consistency of logo, 
presentation in marketing collateral materials, external web site, etc.;
  • Oversee the development of all marketing collateral materials, designed to meet the company’s 
brand identity standards, when requested or needed
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Experience or working knowledge of media/public relations inclusive of nurturing and maintaining 
relationships with media resources;
  • Experience or working knowledge of client relations and business development initiatives;
  • Demonstrated use of creative thinking as it relates to the effective marketing of a company 
inclusive of its services and professionals;
  • Experience with project management and the ability to effectively multi-task;
  • Ability to work effectively in situations driven by deadlines or which require flexibility to approach 
and execution;
  • Experience with some of the following: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Act, Salesforce, 
Illustrator, PhotoShop, blogging software, website content management systems;
  • Working knowledge of design – layout; set up and basic design concepts;
  • Responsible for the day-to-day strategic and digital marketing of the company (Website, Social 
Media, Online Ads, etc.)
  • Provide marketing and business development support to the company’s management;
  • Direct and manage the company’s media/public relations program – (i.e. distribution of quarterly 
press packets; pitching stories to reporters, etc.)
  • Direct and manage external communications program(s), which will include writing and distributing monthly 
  • Responsible for communicating/providing updates on marketing department activities to the 
company management / leadership on a monthly basis;
  • Provide counsel to company leadership regarding both business and community sponsorship 
  • Oversee and manage all advertising (online, print, directories, radio, TV, etc.);
  • Lead digital marketing team with the main focus on managing the organic search marketing and reputation management strategy for brands and domain;
  • Knowledge of both technical and content sides of SEO and updated on the recent changes in search engine policies and algorithm;
  • Create a vision for long term SEO foundation and content marketing;
  • Will also be responsible for managing online reputation for brand;
  • Responsible for an effective social media marketing plan for our brand and integrate that plan into the overall organic strategy;
  • Advanced level knowledge of keyword search.
